Lonnie & Grace were married in Reno, Nevada, on May 2, 1964 and have enjoyed over 40 years of marriage together.   They have four children - Margaret, Lonnelle, Lisa and Mark.

A note from the Webmaster: Lonnie & Grace are both FEMA-Certified CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) Trainers. Lonnie has first-responder experience and was a firefighter/EMT. Grace is credited with bringing the CERT program to Polk County, Oregon, in 2001. Both have incident & emergency response experience and are vital players in the local Polk CERT program.

Lonnie & Grace also served as key personnel on the Western Days staff, City of Independence, for many years. If you were to wander into their office, you would notice a wall with countless awards, including "Volunteers of the Year". They have been quite active in community service and enjoy working with people from all walks of life.
